Aim of the job
As a Key Account Manager (KAM), you will be at the forefront of managing and growing strategic customer relationships while identifying new business opportunities within existing and potential accounts. You will serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring satisfaction, driving growth, and supporting strategic goals.
Job Role / Expectations
- Own and grow a portfolio of key accounts, acting as the trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within assigned accounts and across target sectors.
- Create account strategies, sales forecasts, and growth plans aligned with company objectives.
- Lead contract negotiations, upselling, and cross-selling efforts to maximize account value.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to deliver tailored solutions and customer success.
- Analyze market trends and competitors to identify strategic growth areas.
- Deliver regular account reviews and performance reports to internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications & Competencies
- Proven experience as a Key Account Manager, Strategic Account Executive, or similar role.
- Strong background in B2B sales, with experience in business development and solution selling.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, reporting and presentation skills.
- Ability to build rapport and maintain strong client relationships.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving mindset.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum of 4 years’ working experience in the same field & in the Travel industry with demonstrated success is a preferred requirement.
