Job Title:                                        Marketing Executive – IATI

Job Scope

 

The Marketing Executive will be responsible for the recruitment and registration of travel agents and other direct users (e.g. Companies, NGOs) to the IATI platform.  The Marketing Executive will also ensure that registered agents remain active by consistently making deposits into IATI and also using the platform to book airlines, hotels, and any other services that may be available in the platform.  The Marketing Executive is expected to make both scheduled and non–scheduled visits to potential and existing customers in an effort at resolving any customer issues, recruit, train, and generally to build sustainable relationships with them

 

 

What you will be doing

 

  • Recruit new agents and corporate users for IATI.
  • Pursue tenders advertised for online booking solutions and related services from a variety of sources and follow up on leads to convert such opportunities into sales.
  • Build and maintain relationships with recruited customers through regular interaction to ensure that they constantly deposit and ticket using the IATI platform.
  • Maximise existing customer potential and identify new business opportunities to generate incremental revenue.
  • Support the business unit’s objectives (IATI) by providing market intelligence, customer feedback and participating in business planning sessions.
  • Compile detailed & accurate reports (weekly& monthly) on customer visits outcome, newly recruited customers, status of submitted tenders & other pertinent issues.

Qualifications possessed & Competencies demonstrated :

  • Diploma in Sales and Marketing from a recognized Institution.
  • At least 2 – 3 years of Sales & Marketing experience with a proven track record in the travel industry.
  • Experience in sales of IATI services will be an added advantage.
  • Commendable organizational and self-management skills.
  • Be a persistent and assertive individual to close profitable deals.
  • Be self-driven, ethical, and innovative.
  • Ability to meet stringent deadlines at all times.
